J.H. Veach dedicated his life to pastoring in the Primitive Baptist Church and raising his five sons. These two were the rowdy ones that probably caused him the most sleepless nights.

Andy (left) and Tommy (right) were roughnecks who scratched out a living in the East Texas oil patch. They both had a reputation for enjoying alcohol. They seem to be clowning and mocking the photographer when this snapshot was taken.
