I can't imagine two more lovely sisters than my Mother and my Aunt, Betsy and Evelyn Akin. According to Evelyn, this was a school picture. The photo was obviously a gift to someone but I do not know for whom it was intended. This portrait was found in a box of miscellaneous photos at Evelyn's home in Austin. She seemed more than a little embarassed when I told her what a stunningly beautiful likeness this was.
