In early 2007, professional and amateur geneaologists will benefit from the rich collection of materials offered for their research in Mansfield, Louisiana at the Veach/Foshee geneaological collection. The library represents much of the lifelong collection of Damon A. Veach, author of several syndicated genealogical columns for over twenty years.

In the peaceful piney woods of northwest Louisiana, the Veach and Foshee families have peacefully married, raised children, tended farms, and buried their family members for over two hundred years. It is with loving dedication to their lives and memories that Damon Veach has contributed this valuable and important collection.
